Madeira was made famous from the export of its wine sharing the same name and these lodges housed the first member of the Blandy family back in 1811, and have remained in the family's possession ever since.
The Blandy's are unique in being one of the Madeira wine the oldest producers still living and working on the island - over 200 years of wine making history.
The lodges are located next to thousands of litres of the family's premium wines ageing in American oak casks, with views overlooking the inside patio, the city and the Municipal Gardens.
These 4 self-catered Madeira holiday apartments have been carefully restored, respecting the original structure whilst being furnished with comfortable furniture and modern appliances.
